RGA-1 Refinery Gas Analyzer

Our RGA-1 refinery gas GC is based on traditional schemes for refinery gas analyzers. The unit provides linear response for hydrogen concentrations from 0.02 - 100%. Hydrogen sulfide is analyzed with no difficulty. Water from wet samples is tolerated and causes no problems. As with many refinery gas GC systems, all heavies are backflushed as one peak (to the FID on the RGA-1). This system can also be used to perform analyses on natural gas samples.

CIC's RGA-1 Refinery Gas Chromatograph is based on traditional GC plumbing and packed column schemes.

Liquefied samples use CIC's optional vaporizer (integrally mounted on the GC) with excellent results. A heated transfer line from the vaporizer assures gas phase injection of liquefied samples. This means the same sample injection valve used for gas phase injections is used for liquid samples, therefore a separate and easily plugged liquid sampling valve is not required. Be sure to see our RGA-3 for the latest in Refinery Gas Analysis.
